اوایل سال گذشته صحبت‌هایی داشتم با برتینا دوستی هلندی که از متخصصان حوزه تحول سازمانی است. برتینا به همراه همسرش رابرت که او هم از اساتید حوزه تحول سازمانی است پروژه‌ای را شروع کرده بودند که برایم بسیار جذاب بود. آنها به دنبال کشف تاثیر خرد و رویکردهای معنوی قدیمی بر کسب و کارهای امروز بودند. این‌که چطور آموزه‌های دینی و معنوی گذشته ممکن است به مدیران و کسب و کارهای امروزی کمک کند. آنها با حدود بیست نفر از کشورهای مختلف از ادیان و مذاهب مفتاوت صحبت کردند و از آنها خواستند تا هر کدام رویکردی از آموزه‌های قدیمی را تحلیل کنند. من هم این شانس را داشتم که در این تیم همکاری کنم و یک فصل از کتاب را تدوین کنم. در حال حاضر این کتاب توسط انتشارات Palgrave منتشر شده و از طریق سایت Palgrave و آمازون قابل خرید است.
موضوعی که درباره‌ی آن نوشته‌‌ام مربوط به ترکیب آموزه‌های مولانا و تفکر جستجوی ارزش‌ها (رویکردی برای تحول در سیستم‌های انسانی) و تاثیر آن در تحول سازمانی است. در این فصل که عنوانش است Appreciative Inquiry and Rumi’s Wisdom for Organizational Development توضیح داده‌ام که درس‌های خودشناسی مولانا چطور می‌تواند نگاهی عمیق به مدیران نسبت به خود و همکارانشان بدهد و چطور مدل فکری جستجوی ارزش‌ها که تمرکز بر کشف فرصت‌ها و تحول مثبت دارد می‌تواند در کنار این نگاه تغییری در سطح افراد و کل سازمان به‌وجود بیاورد.
در این کتاب از آموزه‌های اسلام و عرفان گرفته تا رویکردهای اسپینوزا و آلبرکامو و آموزه‌هایشان که می‌تواند در مدیریت موثر باشد پوشش داده شده است و منبع خوبی است برای کسانی که هدف پژوهش در این حوزه‌ها را دارند. این کتاب به‌عنوان یک منبع دانشگاهی / علمی منتشر شده است و رویکردش با کتاب‌های تجاری متفاوت است به همین دلیل قیمت بالایی هم نسبت به کتاب‌های با تیراژ بالا دارد.

پی‌نوشت (1): مدت‌ها بود که قصد داشتم مولانا را بخوانم و نمی‌شد. درگیر شدن برای نوشتن در این کتاب باعث شد تا مطالعاتم در این حوزه هم بیشتر شود. گاهی شرایطی پیش می‌آید که مجبوری به خواسته‌هایت برسی.
پی‌نوشت (2): با توجه به این‌که این متن را باید انگلیسی می‌نوشتم دوستانی لطف کردند و در ویرایش متن کمک کردند که بسیار ازشون سپاسگزارم.
